Juggling, Jumping On A Trampoline and Aerial Trapeze Work In The Sun
Families will love incorporating circus training into their all-inclusive holidays. Guaranteed fun, while learning core elements of circus performing.
If you’re looking for a holiday with a difference, then why not consider an immersive circus vacation? Circus training has many benefits for people of any age. There are a wide range of activities that you can learn, which cover many different disciplines. You can get fit and improve your core strength whilst trying out trampolining or acrobatics. An activity such as juggling will require your mental skills and sharpen your focus as it improves concentration rates. You can also get creative by learning the art of mask painting or joining in a group dance number.
Circus skill holidays are a great option for couples and families alike, but are also a fantastic place to meet likeminded people who are also interested in learning the ropes, so to speak.
You might want to take along a set of juggling balls in your suitcase, so that you can practice throughout your trip to really hone those circus skills.
Club Med offers two all-inclusive venues with circus skill training activities. Based in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and Opio en Provence in France, Club Med has teamed up with Cirque du Soleil to offer ‘Creactive’, which is a world of creative exploration inside an enormous circus-themed playground.
There are roughly 25-30 different circus-inspired activities available during these all-inclusive holidays, which include treats such as percussion, dance, juggling, high bungee, double flying trapeze, aerial skills, tightrope walking and trampoline practice.
You will be fully supervised by professionals to ensure your safety whilst participating in these activities. Children under the age of 4 go free at these resorts, and interconnecting rooms are available.
If you’re not ready to commit to an entire holiday packed full of circus skills, then a taster workshop could be just what you’re looking for.
- High Flyers, Bali, Indonesia – At this beautiful location on the Bali Dynasty Resort, you will work with your friendly instructor and practice the art of spinning plates, handling devil sticks and soaring through the air on a high-flying trapeze. The 2 hour, 20-minute experience will cost from £43 per person.
- Ixtapa, Mexico – Another Club Med resort, this paradise holiday offers a circus workshop which is suitable from 2 years and above. The youngsters tend to spend their time studying magic tricks, while those aged 4 and above are able to learn juggling, tightrope walking, and how to fly through the air using a trapeze.
Practising the basics of circus skills doesn’t have to stop once you return home. If you have found circus training to be thoroughly relaxing and great at toning those core muscles, then you might want to include this all-round fitness activity into your weekly workout schedule.
For instance, the Albert & Friends Instant Circus in London offers pay-as-you-go classes from £13 a session, where you can practice aerial hoops, silks, and trapeze work. Similarly, the Circus House in Manchester offers a wide range of classes which include tumbling sessions which will help you learn acrobatic manoeuvres such as back-flips and cartwheels, as well as wall-running classes.
Many of us don’t know much about the technical training that is involved in circus performing, but once you get started, you’ll be completely hooked!
